Hi everyone! I’m Ashley Fennimore, owner of Manayunk Pooch Scoochers!
I’m so excited you’re here to learn a little more about us!
I’m a proud St. Joe’s alum (#THWND!) and originally set out to pursue a lifelong career in special education and art education. While finishing my minor in ceramics, I picked up a part-time job to help make ends meet—and that’s where I met Austin, the original owner of MPS. I started as a dog walker and pet sitter, not knowing at the time that I had just stumbled into my dream job.
What began as a side gig quickly turned into a passion. Being around animals every day brought me so much joy, and when the opportunity to take over Manayunk Pooch Scoochers came up, it was the easiest decision I’ve ever made.
Today, I feel so lucky to serve this incredible, animal-loving community by offering reliable and affordable pet care. There’s nothing better than knowing we help pet parents come home to happy, well-cared-for furry friends!
When I’m not out with your fluffy companions, you’ll likely find me chasing around my three little boys (the human kind!) with my husband, Corey.

Hi! I'm Alex! I was raised with the love of dogs and cats my whole life. I currently have four dogs and a cat! It's a full house, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Animals have a special way of making every day better! I was born and raised in Philadelphia, and graduated from The University of the Arts. After graduation, I started working for Pooch Scoochers! While I love mixed media and appreciate art deeply, I have found a passion in caring for animals. I can't wait to meet all of your fur babies!

I’m a proud walker with Pooch Scoochers, and animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I truly can’t think of a time when I didn’t have a furry companion by my side. My professional journey with animals began at Bark Social in Manayunk, which confirmed what I already knew — I wanted to dedicate my career to caring for them.
When I’m not spending time with your beloved dogs and cats, you’ll find me riding my bike throughout the city or exploring creek trails with my fishing rod in hand. I look forward to meeting you and giving your furry family members the love and care they deserve!

Originally from West Chester and now living in Roxborough, I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life — and I’ll admit, I often enjoy their company even more than people’s! I’m passionate about making pets feel happy, safe, and loved while their families are away.
When I’m not caring for your furry friends, you can usually find me spending time with my cat, Kuma, illustrating, lifting weights, or baking something delicious. I’m so excited to meet your pets and treat them like my own!
I’m a proud Philadelphia native, Temple University graduate, outdoorsy vegan, and lifelong animal enthusiast. Animals have been a part of my life since childhood, and I’ve always felt a natural connection to them.
I believe our pets are a true gift to humanity — one that gives endlessly — and I’m passionate about caring for them with the same love and respect they receive from you. I can’t wait to meet your furry family members and make them feel safe, happy, and adored.
I am so happy to be apart of Pooch Scoochers! I have been around dogs my entire life, and currently have two perfect Puggies. I have lived in Philadelphia for the past 6 years. I currently live in South Philly, and I am also finishing up my BSN in nursing at Holy Family this year! I have worked as a Pet Caregiver for the past few years and I am beyond excited to to meet your furry friends!
